For years we have taught people how to constantly upgrade the quality of prospect on their contact list. This is another big step up in that concept. There are literally thousands upon thousands of seasoned veterans of NWM out there that are very frustrated because things are not going well for them and especially their teams. I know because I was one of them!!!

It is always a wise thing to know your prospect in any kind of selling venture. I will try and keep things as simple as I can but it will take some effort on your part to understand the psychology behind what we are doing to really create a long term residual income using this particular strategy.
You can be very confident in your knowledge that for the most part Networking professionals are quite frustrated because of the poor success rates in developing a residual income in their own Networks. Most are in a treadmill scenario and constantly in need of replacing those that quit their home based business venture. Very few Networks are growing and very few companies can demonstrate a successful track record domestically after their first 3 years of initial growth.
Seasoned Networkers usually only get approached by two kinds of people. Other seasoned Networkers or the aggressive “sales type” of person. We don’t normally pay much attention to these “drivers” as they do not build relationships and have little long term success unless they change their focus of building a home based business. Seasoned Networkers approach others with integrity and honesty and avoid hype and sales “techniques” per se. They will normally state their purpose for calling quickly and are normally very respectful. They are interested to see if you keep your options open.
I have learned that if you are open about sharing ideas, strategies and tips etc., on how to create a long term residual income, then more times than not, people are open to having a conversation. They fully understand that quality people take their time and want to get to know a person. People buy who we are before they buy what we have. The fortune is in the follow up! Veterans are not going to jump into something without a ton of research. Our objective is to fill our funnels with many of these kinds of people and stay in touch regularly building our relationship and getting to know them and what their needs are.
Most Newcomers are going to think to themselves “Why would a seasoned veteran get involved with me in my home based business?” This is how Newcomers think and the main reason so very few will do this activity unless they are properly trained and confident in the system as they work towards building a residual income.
This is where you will stand out from the crowd because you are using professional techniques that normally only the seasoned veterans know in terms of developing a home based business. We must never try to “fake it until we make it” and be something we are not. This will just not work and is wrong anyhow. A true professional doesn’t really care about where a person is at in their progress; they care about the character of the person in reality. Newcomers can be very comfortable with the fact that they are new and that they rely on the system, tools and coaching of their support team to handle the more in-depth process with these kinds of veterans. Our job is simply to meet people, get to know them and see if they are the kind of person that we wish to work with and be friends with. Over time, perhaps a few will want to venture into our home based business and build a residual income.
Veterans will have preconceived ideas about ABC Company and because of the evolution of our industry this may create some objections initially. Don’t be afraid of objections as it gives us a chance for further communication and understanding. Our job is to share the facts because the facts are good enough. This is why so many veterans have joined the company over the past few years. People just like all of us who are building a peaceful residual income.
Patience is the key while people learn the facts and see how the big picture relates to their needs.
Attracting leaders like this comes down to your people handling skills in reality. Can you meet people and become friends? Professional Networkers will never turn down a chance to get to know another Networker from another home based business. Why would they? Some of the nicest people you will ever meet are experienced Networkers. That goes against everything we are doing. So why be afraid to call one? This is really self-image stuff going on here. Why would anybody lack the confidence to meet nice people and get to know each other and even help each other out in their respective home based business?
The real dream of every Networker is to build a peaceful residual income! That is what they have been working their home based business towards. The fortune is in the follow up and your ability to build a solid relationship. This means showing respect, listening for understanding, not reacting and just being in service. If you made 25 new friends of professional Networkers and stay in touch you will attract some into your home based business over time. It’s already happening all over.
Then there is the personal growth material and the daily success habits we have at our home based business team. Veteran Networkers are much more aware than the average person just how critical this is for people in a Network if they want to build a successful residual income. The track record of Networks that supplied proper and effective personal growth material regularly is much better than those that haven’t. Veterans are quite aware of this as well as the power of a team and its accountability factor like in local groups.
Our home based business team demonstrates the same attributes of a local group! Your sincerity and ability to edify the culture of our team enthusiastically will help many of those you speak with become curious and check it out. When they do they will begin to see the bigger overall vision and where our team is going and how we plan to get there. Your desire, professionalism and dedication will go a long way in proving that our culture at out home is different and working. People buy who you are before they buy what you have!!!

Home Based Business - Built on Solid Ground
There are so many ways doubt and fear can creep in and steal our dream and confidence in developing a successful home based business. When we read about someone else’s meteoric rise to the top levels in a company in 7 days or whatever, it can make us wonder why not us.
May I suggest something to building a successful home based business?
Why should we care? We don’t know how much personal growth those folks went through before they started their home based business. We have no idea of how everything fell in place for them in building their residual income. Instead of making us feel less confidence, wouldn’t it be empowering to for us to BE encouraged to believe that perhaps the next meteor might be our personal enrollee?
The concept is about building on solid ground to have a success home based business. Build it right one time to have a long term residual income. We believe in respecting others and friends helping friends. We leave our egos at the door of the Home Based Business Team when we come in. Everyone is always a leader-in-training as true leadership is always about growing every day anyhow. Everyone has their unique gifts that add to the team, all for one and one for all.
Our home based business team will not be attractive to everybody; it wasn’t designed to be. It will be attractive to the right people wanting a long term and successful home based business. That’s our job in a way, to share with people in a way that helps them get a clear picture of who we are and what we do in terms of helping that other person develop a residual income. Like Frank says: “Just share the truth because the truth is good enough.” This way we will attract the right people and quality people are the solid ground we need.
It really comes down to building a base of contacts filled with nice people that are all at various stages of looking at what we have and gaining respect for who we are by the way we treat them. Since anybody with the “Right Stuff” can succeed in a home based business, it’s not about the speed of which we build it. Would you want to purchase a home made of poor quality material thrown up very quickly or would you prefer one built with quality material on a solid foundation and built properly in having a successful residual income?
Even if it took a whole year to develop that contact base properly before one person even enrolled, would it be worth it? In the coming year my intentions are to totally revamp and upgrade my contact base and share my story with some great people. Things take time to be done right in having a long term sustainable home based business.

Myth or Reality
To me the total idea of having a home based business has become a world of broken promises and lies. Even with the greatest desire to fulfill my dreams of working from home it has been trounced by all the scam and so-called proven business opportunities on the Internet.
I have followed all the advice that one can find on the Internet about starting a Home based business. I Have done Due diligence on each opportunity that I have joined over the years, have spend numerous hours, more than I really care to admit to spending. The hours that have been spent working on the computer trying to advertise and get my business and product in front of a greater number of possible customers.
As with any Home based business there will be cost to start up, even if most things say you can start from free. I think that the word "Free" needs to be removed and or restricted in it use on the free Internet. Using free in advertising is a deception that myself and the majority of people fall for more times then not. But after falling for so many free things that has cost me money, I just delete any e-mail I get with free in it and by pass all the Internet garbage.
All in all though, I will continue to look at ways to start my own home based business, just knowing that the chances are very slim to none. Without a desire and a dream I am not sure what I would do, but glory be to God he has given me a desire to succeed. I hope that as everyone in this world looks for the same chance to work from home that each of them and myself will finally find the rainbow.

If you use a drop shipper or buy locally for resale may need to keep a certain amount of items in stock. Adequate room to both stock your merchandise and in the case of buying used items you’ll need room to repair and clean them will be necessary. Remember to have an area available for packing and shipping. The more merchandise you can keep in stock the quicker your turn around will be. You also will want to stock up on items you can buy at a savings if you purchase in bulk. Having a home based business sales can be profitable if it is what you desire and can be fun also.

If there was one secret, one common denominator to building a residual income in a home based business, just one thing that I should wish for everybody to take away from this article is the critical importance and direct relation daily success habits have upon a leader’s development. Nobody will ever master the art of leadership without replacing bad habits with Daily Success Habits!!
Change can be difficult at first, discovering what is needed to be changed and replacing them with positive daily success habits can be a slow and painful process in the beginning.
Building a home based business takes time, patience and dedication over a period of time as well. If this were not true the world would have many more leaders in it today. People by nature resist change and don’t want to give up the comfortable, but that’s probably why a lot of people never go on to building a successful home based business. Leaders will! Once again it is a question of a passionate belief! If someone wants something bad enough, like developing a sustainable residual income to fire their boss, they will do what is required to obtain the goal including changing negative beliefs and habits into positive ones.

That discipline seems to only come to those who have committed themselves to a worthwhile goal of building a long term home based business. They are inspired to be successful and move on from there through discipline to developing a passionate belief. That process requires a coach or a mentor in some form to be effective. People don’t just “do it” on their own without an example and the best examples are living committed coaches to the person in question and those coaches showing the new person what it truly takes to creating a sustainable residual income.
What we have discovered on our team is the age old truth of the power behind a daily discipline to personal growth. Nobody could accomplish in 6 hours at one sitting what the process of 1 hour every day will create! 1 hour per day multiplies the results by many times! It goes against human nature to do so and that’s why in my opinion, leadership is such a rare thing today. People want the easy route to a six figure residual income, the path of least resistance and would rather watch TV for an hour than struggle with their own truths, beliefs and need to grow. Leaders take the road less traveled and apply themselves to growth and that’s why they are able to have a successful home based business.
If we understand the process of leadership then it can be better taught. People begin with hope of a better life or a more fulfilling life. One way is via a long term residual income by having there own home based business. Through daily learning and growing they begin to believe more and more. It is a process and everybody begins at a different place and requires a different amount of nurturing in order to develop their own passionate belief as they work towards building a home business. Once hope becomes absolute belief they will apply themselves to the task at hand of developing leadership with even more resolve and apply that four letter word called work to there home based business.
It is just a question of time and anybody can develop a residual income with the right coaching, personal leadership growth, discipline and having passion. One final comment on that I have heard from many successful leaders; “love what you do or do something else”, has been good advice for me to follow over the years.
